THE CARETAKER

We are asking God to enlarge our territories and make us possess lands but we can’t even take care of our environment. We keep littering around and making the place unclean. This was a great eye opener for me. We are trying to tell God that we can’t take care of what He has already given to us, so His plan to let us build factories and mansions should be halted. Are we good caretakers?
She is your sister in Christ; Abraham’s seed for that matter but you abuse her and make her feel like she is from Cain’s lineage but then you go to church and sing “Abraham’s blessings are mine, because I belong to Jesus”. Are you even sure you know Abraham? After fornicating with her you then go to the church and start looking through the choir in search of a virgin who sings so well that the angels have to get a private aeroplane to earth to come worship. She is the property of God so why don’t you cherish her in respect and holiness?
Sweetheart, if the men want a proverbs 31:10 woman you should also only accept a proverbs 31:10 man. God let my future husband locate me like Rebecca we pray, but we are not kind, nor are we humble and submissive. We can’t even give out a dress to our neighbour's daughter so are we sure we can give a stranger water to drink, give water to his camels and if within our reach also give them a place to sleep as in the case of Rebecca? You want a man of faith like Abraham who would be patient to the promise of God but you are hastily making plans to wed a man God hasn’t given you approval of.

We want to start a business that would blow the minds of the next generation and beyond but when God prompts us to share a word with the lady we say it's too early in the morning and what she would want is breakfast not bunch talking so we would do that when coming home. Which should be easier? Talking to someone about a God that announced Himself already, whose biography has already been captured in the bible and has got the Holy Spirit to convict the person to accept Him OR talking about a business which we don’t even know whether it would succeed that has  a multi-million idea which no one has ever thought of, that you don’t have testimonies for?

We want God to part the red seas in our lives but we enjoy walking in the forest, which sea is there to part or is He supposed to part the baobab tree. Most of us are guilty here because we keep asking God for the very things we are willingly running from. How then can we impact lives like we ought to? Or are we waiting for people to set up a podium, fix projectors and sit patiently as we lecture them?
God make me like the cedar of Lebanon (Psalm 92:12); make me flourish, strong and immovable but when your boss corners you with a blank cheque, he becomes Jesus and everything he says is right. When you go to church you refuse to give a seed offering to God because you are thinking of who keeps the money? Who uses it? What it’s being used for and you miss the important question: who are you giving it to? You have in mind to give a seed offering to God so that He would make it germinate so why then are you in the church auditorium doing the maths asking yourself “if there are 100 people giving at least 2 cedis each, then by the end of the month….” if God is to also to do the maths, which offering is He going to multiply?
We want to break grounds but we are secretly with our actions and words wishing that this cup would pass away; the cup of criticism, the cup of down talkers, the cup of sacrifice. You are praying that one day when you marry you would have children but when you see how children can soil their parents dress you get irritated and give a disgusted look. Maybe you don’t have to marry; maybe you would have to take after Paul; you should ask God, just maybe. (*laughs*)
According to His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and Godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue- 2 Peter 1:3. We are caretakers and glory to God we have what we need to do so. He who is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unfaithful in what is least is unfaithful also in much – luke 16:10. Even as we are making demands from God are we taking care of the things He has already given to us and the people He has brought on our way?- renew your mind; let God cause that revival in your heart today.
